Media representatives* who register with Swissmedic and agree to abide by certain rules will usually receive 3 or 4 email updates a year containing a list of administrative penalty procedures (summary penalty orders, confiscation orders, confiscation rulings and orders for stay of proceedings etc.) issued in the preceding period. This list will include the following details:
- proceedings no.
- date of decision
- function of the persons/companies penalised or affected by the stay of proceedings
- offence or relevant statutory provisions
- nature and amount of sanction and any penal measures taken (e.g. confiscations).
