Promed Swiss SA is recalling the falsified batch 1000706 of Soliris 300 mg produced for the UK/Ireland from its supplied customers.
The falsified units produced for the UK/Ireland can be identified by the combination of batch number 1000706 and expiry date 07/2021. The original batch 1000706 (EXP. 06.2020) of the preparation produced for Colombia is not affected by the recall.
Between January and June 2020, Promed Swiss SA procured 257 units of the falsified batch 1000706 (EXP 07/2021) in multiple deliveries from a Turkish supplier and delivered them to South American customers.
The recall was carried out in agreement with Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products, by means of a letter to the customers supplied with the falsified preparation.
