GlaxoSmithKline AG has provided information on syringe leaks that may occur with various vaccines during reconstitution or administration. According to the company, this concerns the following vaccines: Boostrix, Boostrix Polio, Engerix-B 20, Engerix-B 10, Havrix 1440, Havrix 720, Infanrix Hexa, Infanrix DTPa-IPV+Hib, Infanrix DTPa-IPV, Priorix, Priorix Tetra, Twinrix 720/20 and Varilrix.
13.04.2018 - In consultation with Swissmedic, GSK has announced that leakages from syringes have been observed with certain GSK vaccines (escape of fluid between the syringe and needle) during the reconstitution or injection of the vaccine.
