13.01.2016 - Swissmedic's Medical Devices Division has revamped its webpages. The site's user-friendliness has been enhanced by means of a new structure in which pages are ordered by subject area and brief descriptions of document content are provided.
Clearer structure
The menus have been modified so that users can now navigate by the following main subject areas: Regulation of medical devices, Clinical trials, Market access, Materiovigilance, Export certificates and Reprocessing & maintenance. This structure has been introduced in response to the feedback received from users in recent years.
Brief descriptions have been provided for each section so that users can quickly establish what topics they cover. Where necessary, introductory information on links to information sheets, forms or other sources of information have been added.
Document translations
Medical Devices' internet pages are now almost entirely in four languages (German, French and Italian – the Swiss national languages – plus English). Any missing English or Italian translations will be provided if necessary when the various information sheets and forms are revised.
