Swissmedic has lifted the suspension of the establishment licence for Dr. Heinz Welti AG at its Bubendorf site with effect from 24 July 2023. This means that the manufacture of, wholesale trading in, and import and export of medicinal products is possible again with immediate effect.

Dr. Heinz Welti AG has implemented improvements to ensure that its operations are GMP/GDP-compliant and improved the staffing situation with regard to quality assurance. Swissmedic has thus now also lifted the suspension of the establishment licence for its Bubendorf site.
As a result, manufacturing activities (non-sterile products, incl. homeopathic and herbal medicinal products), contract manufacture, wholesale trading, and import and export of ready-to-use and non-ready-to-use medicinal products are possible again with immediate effect.
