Validation of data
In August 2024, all economic operators registered with Swissmedic with a CHRN received a letter to their contact person, requesting that they validate their data that had been migrated to swissdamed, within three months.
Almost 1,000 actors have already done so.
The deadline is 13 November 2024 – take 10 minutes and validate your data today - if possible!
Please note: The first step of validation involves checking your company data, while the second step involves checking the data of each individual registered actor. You can find detailed instructions below – you must complete steps 1 to 5 in full.
As a registered economic operator, you are required to validate your data. In doing so, you are making a major contribution to the data integrity and reliability of the Actors module of swissdamed. This is an important foundation for the smooth introduction of the Devices module and ultimately for the overview of the Swiss medical devices market.
Validation of data in swissdamed:
- Log in to swissdamed by clicking on “Login”. You will need an existing or new CH-LOGIN account to do this.
- Once you have logged in to swissdamed, go to “Companies” and click on the “Register new company” button. Search for your company either by the company name as listed in Zefix or by using the UID number.
Note: a company can only be registered once. If several actors for the same company are registered with different contacts, the contacts should discuss this as each person will have received a letter in August 2024. - After starting the registration of your company, you will receive a letter by post with a one-time verification code.
- You can complete the registration of your company by entering the verification code in swissdamed.
- You can find the details already notified in the CHRN application under “Actor management”. Then click on the pen symbol next to each registered actor. Please check that the details are complete and correct. Correct and complete the details as necessary before confirming them.
