The team behind ’Visible‘ “Swissmedic has plenty to tell people”
By providing background stories, news and portraits in our print and online magazine ’Visible‘, we give an inside view of Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products. We create transparency and proximity by taking our readers as close as possible to the action. To mark the tenth issue of ’Visible‘, we take a look behind the scenes of the magazine and meet the creative production team that puts heart and soul into each issue.
Danila Feldmann
Editor Danila Feldmann put a face to the idea of ‘Visible’ in 2019 and helped Swissmedic raise its profile through the magazine. Along with Nicole Lüthi, she is in charge of production and is responsible for the team, subjects covered and deadlines.
Nicole Lüthi
Editor Nicole Lüthi works with Danila Feldmann to coordinate the production of ‘Visible’. She makes sure that the twice-yearly magazine reflects the multifaceted and complex issues that Swissmedic deals with in a technically correct, interesting and understandable way.
Alain Amherd
Photographer Alain Amherd is a master when it comes to providing a photographic portrait of even abstract topics. His photos and videos bring the relevance of Swissmedic's work to life and make ‘Visible’ a distinctive publication.
Renate Müller
Renate Müller has been working at Swissmedic – or the Intercantonal Office for the Control of Medicines (IOCM) as it was known when she joined – since 1984, and has been looking after Swissmedic’s Internet presence as an assistant web administrator for 22 years. She makes sure the online version of ‘Visible’ goes live on publication date and that it still looks professional in a browser.
Anaïs Contet
Anaïs Contet has been translating texts into French for Swissmedic since 2022. She enjoys the full-on weeks when she’s working on the magazine, as well as the variety that the ‘Visible’ articles bring to her everyday work.
Manuela Ryter
Copywriter Manuela Ryter has been writing for ‘Visible’ since 2023. She interviews several Swissmedic scientists and specialists for each of her background articles on the complex issues surrounding therapeutic products and their authorisation, and learns something new each time she does so.
Katja In-Albon
Katja In-Albon is the link person between the editorial team and the printers. She takes care of the technical side of preparing the magazine for printing, making sure that the colours are correct and that ‘Visible’ is printed and dispatched properly.
Laetitia Joye
Translator Laetitia Joye has been at Swissmedic since 2013 and knows the complex wording associated with the Agency’s many activities intimately. With the aid of Anaïs Contet, she coordinates the French, Italian and English versions of the magazine and is responsible for ensuring the linguistic quality of all translations.

Patricia Mengis
Patricia Mengis, who has worked for Swissmedic as a graphic designer for many years, gives ‘Visible’ its form and colour. Her layouts are designed to ensure that the magazine arouses the interest of patients, doctors, employees, politicians, partners and people working in the pharmaceutical industry.
Samuel Dunkel
Samuel Dunkel designs the electronic version of ‘Visible’, enhancing various articles by adding audiovisual content. He is also driving forward the ongoing technical development of the online format.
Mareike Fischer
What is haemovigilance? What does the Enforcement Division do? What is Swissmedic busy with at the strategic level? Since early 2023, editor Mareike Fischer has been transforming complex material into a clear and understandable format for ‘Visible’ and its lay and specialist audience.
